Dates: Wednesday 13 May, 24 June, 9 September, and 30 September 2020.
Time: Registration: 5.30pm-6pm. Evening Workshop: 6pm-8.45pm.
Event Description: The Dances of Universal Peace are a powerful group spiritual practice originating in Sufism. We sing or chant sacred phrases while dancing in a circle. By opening our voices and hearts, dancing together and honouring sacred traditions of many different peoples and times, we may experience feelings of connectedness, joy, playfulness, healing, and strength.
Dominic Ashmole has been leading Dances of Universal Peace since 2007. Under the guidance of his teacher, Philip O’Donohoe, he became a certified leader in November 2010.
