Event: Workshop: Living Peace.

Facilitator: Alice Fateah Saunders.

Venue: The Yoga Tree (1st floor), 4 King Street, Stirling, FK8 1AY.
Date: Saturday 26 October 2019 (for an introductory session).
Time: 2pm-4pm.

Event Description:  We all want peace – but peace begins with us – it begins with individuals finding their own inner peace and living it outwardly.

We can learn to be active in bringing peace to our sometimes troubled inner lives – which helps us bring peace into our relationships – which in turn permeates our families, our communities - spreading out into the wider world.

This course of 6 sessions, led by Alice Fateah Saunders, an experienced facilitator of similar events, will be experiential and somewhat developmental, using chanting of sacred sounds and phrases, body prayers, dancing, meditation (silent and guided), walking meditations and maybe activities involving pairs or the whole group.  It will draw on teachings and spiritual practices from the Universal Sufism brought by Hazrat Inayat Khan to the west, and it is hoped that the final session will include a version of the Flag Ceremony for Peace of the World Peace Prayer Society.

Please note that 26 October is an introduction, to be followed by further sessions if there is sufficient interest on that day.

So please turn up if this interests you!

This event is supported by the Edinburgh International Centre for Spirituality and Peace, EICSP, Scottish Charity, SC038996.

Cost: By donation, suggested £6-10 per session.
