Event Description: "The flute of infinite is played without ceasing, and its sound is love." Kabir: mystic poet.

"The work is to create a beautiful world, a community of freindship. The awakened heart is the embodiment of spiritual friendship" - Pir Vilyat.

Our retreat is an invitation to breathe and take a sacred pause between the many notes of our lives - some which are dissonant, some which are beautiful, some which bespeak of our sorrow and pain for the condition of our world.

During this retreat we shall tune ourselves as instrumentsof the divine through silence, sacred songs, the Dances of Universal Peace, and Sufi practices with breath, light and sacred sound. Our closure will include an informal Universal Worship with participants sharing in it.

The retreat is guided by Murshida Saki Lee, an Inayati Order Sufi guide and teacher, a mother, a wife, and a friend of cats and ducks. She is also a licenced therapist in East Asian medicine and a musician of the soul.
