Event Description: Prana, chi, hayy, orgone, life force - throughout human history, people have searched for the secret of vitality, health and energy in themselves and in the world around them. Mystical and spiritual traditions as well as certain branches of body-oriented psychology developed practices and techniques to access the energy present throughout nature and the cosmos. This natural inheritance becomes less accessible to us the more we engage in the concerns of our minds and more virtual reality. Hence the need to remember and practice together. In this workshop, we will dive into the arts and sciences of life energy—in our breathing, body awareness, meditation, movement and hearts. The Dances of Universal Peace, Sufi zikr, walking meditation and practices selected from the Buddhist and other dharma traditions, world spirituality and holistic psychology will be our companions.
