Event Description: An evening workshop to find out more about Biodanza – the dance of life.
Biodanza is a series of organic movements and dances with eclectic music from around the world and lots of Latin/African rhythms that activate our natural joy of life. It is a group practise that creates a nurturing and supportive community space which invites us on a journey of self-discovery through individual, shared and group dances.
Biodanza – which means ‘Dance of Life’ – originated in Chile 50 years ago through the work of Rolando Toro Araneda, Psychologist, Medical Anthropologist, Artist and Poet , Rolando Toro Araneda from Chile.
Regular practise in a Biodanza class can facilitate greater health and well being and has been shown to support the immune system, harmonise blood pressure and release stress.
Each class creates a journey through music, dance and expression which activates our natural life force on a deeper level.
Biodanza can facilitate and support the changes we wish to make to live life to our full potential. It re-connects us with our primal essence and gives us the courage to create more beauty in the world.
It is recommended to attend the one day workshop on Saturday 29 April to have a full experience of Biodanza but it is possible to come to either or both the evening class and the day workshop.
