Recordings for Updated Online Zoom Workshop Series: The Enneagram of Cosmic Laws

Discovering the ancient wisdom symbolised in the Enneagram and how understanding it can help us grow to become the person we have the potential to become.

Facilitator: Ken Webb.

Event Description: This course is for all who want to grow into the best person they can be and is an updated version of an earlier course entitled ‘Fourth Way Enneagram’.

The teaching I share is based on the ancient understanding and wisdom of three fundamental cosmic laws that are symbolised in the Enneagram.

This was rediscovered and handed down to a small number of devotees by George Gurdjieff, who first introduced the Enneagram to the West in 1915.

The change in title reflects the fact that in this course I focus more on understanding and applying the three cosmic laws than on Gurdjieff’s Fourth Way, which can be practiced without any reference to the Enneagram.

I have added additional material based on an exploration of these laws by John G Bennett in the four volumes of J G Bennett’s ‘The Dramatic Universe, and on Maurice Nicoll’s commentary on the teachings of Ouspensky and Gurdjieff (Vol.2).

Meet your guide:

Born in China and brought up in Burma, Ken Webb graduated from St Bartholomew’s Hospital, University of London to practice medicine first in the UK and then, for many years, in Thailand. He went on to study theology at Trinity College Bristol, graduating in 1992, and was ordained into Anglican ministry after a further year of post graduate study. He spent the last five years before retiring in 2017 overseeing the training of those preparing for authorised ministry in the diocese of Edinburgh. Ken was introduced to the Enneagram in 1995 and began to delve more deeply into it in 2014, undertaking a number of courses put on by the Shift Network and Enneagram Institute. Since retiring he has offered a number of taster days, courses and retreats. At the same time he has read and researched the original writings of Gurdjieff, and it is on these that his current work is based.

Testimonials from participants in my previous course:

“I highly recommend the Fourth Way Enneagram course to anyone interested in delving deeper into the Enneagram. This transformative journey offers a unique blend of wisdom, knowledge, and spiritual practice that will greatly enhance your understanding of this powerful tool for self-discovery. Don't miss out on this opportunity to embark on a truly enlightening experience.” (Grace)

“Ken’s Fourth Way Enneagram course is a top notch learning experience. He has provided pre-class outlines, great lectures and visuals, creative and relevant meditations, and questions for reflection. Stories from your own personal experience and other examples he presented made the complexity of the enneagram applicable to daily life.” (George)

The Fourth Way Enneagram has been a truly wonderful experience, and I greatly appreciate the well-structured nature of the course. Considering the vast amount of information related to this topic. I am incredibly grateful to Ken as the course facilitator and to the EICSP for offering this course. If there's ever a chance for an expansion course in the future, count me in!” (J.J.B.)
