Speakers:

Mike Moss:

Title: On Being Passively Receptive.

Description: This talk is based on Mike’s workshop for the Person Centred Association UK in June 2024 ‘On Being Passively Receptive’ where participants were introduced to the re-telling of a powerful therapeutic experience where it was as if therapist and client had met before, beyond their understanding, in an invisible world, where something greater was revealed.

You are invited to dare to imagine beyond your five senses, where new patterns of how we connect as humans may be discovered.

Bio: Mike Moss is a registered counsellor and clinical supervisor.

He has worked in voluntary and statutory organisations for over 40 years and is employed as a school counsellor in Edinburgh.

He has written widely about the power of the therapeutic relationship and presented his work at national and international conferences.

He also has a private practice offering Counselling, Supervision and Training and can be contacted at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Jolanda Aoisanam:

Title: Psychosynthesis; Does the Psyche Need to be Synthesized?

Description: Aoisanam will share about Psychosynthesis, the integrative therapy which lies at the foundation of her professional training and how this still influences and merges with her present work. She will offer a personal quest for you to explore your inner landscape.

Bio: After working as a psychotherapist and (neuro)psychologist for many years, Aoisanam decided it was time for a change.

She moved away from the city to reconnect with nature and its ancient wisdom.

Aoisanam is currently working with transgenerational trauma in Family Constellations and Systemic Rituals.

Her latest assignment is The Healing of the Land, which is of course interrelated with the people living on and of the land.

Aoisanam was initiated in the Order of Brigid and has rooted herself in Shamanism and Celtic Consciousness.

Aine Murphy:

Title: Integrative Teaching and Learning in Schools.

Description: Aine will discuss how the theory of education is rigid and controlled.

In practice education often has little to do with ‘teaching’ and everything to do with connecting and opening awareness to each pupil and what they hold.

Her job has changed dramatically as she opened her heart and began to see each pupil as an individual.

Bio: Aine has worked for almost 30 years as an educator in schools.

She started her career as a drama teacher but now has evolved into teaching mindfulness meditation, aspects of yoga, sounding bowls and Celtic Consciousness.

Her creative work with children who are blind, many of whom have other complex needs, is both innovative and challenging.

Alison Whiteford:

Title: Dreamwork.

Description: I will talk about how I work on dreams, nightmares, and repetitive dreams. What is my unconscious trying to tell me? How to unlock the meaning of my dreams? Honouring dreams by carrying out rituals, putting the dream into my muscles, doing something creative with the dream, e.g., collage, sculpture, mandalas, dialoguing with dream figures, exploring dream symbols and taking the dream into my body.

Bio: I started my personal journey with dreams in my twenties when I attended a dream group with Hilary Scaife at Wellspring, a therapy centre in Edinburgh.

I am still working with and am fascinated by my dreams 45 years later. They are crucial to how I live my life and I do not make any important decisions without them being backed up by my dreams.

I did a training in dreams with Hilary Scaife at Wellspring, I completed a degree in Psychology at Aberdeen and did a counselling training.  I now run dream groups online and at home in the Pentlands.  I also do individual dreamwork.

Naoise Galvin:

Description: I look forward to sharing with you about the alchemy of my work, my life, my inspiration, how it is weaving, unfolding & ever changing. Alchemising as the inner alchemy continues within me.

Please bring either a herb tea, essential oil or other element from nature you intuitively feel to work with for the call.
