Event: Online Zoom Workshop:

Rivers of Grief:

Journeying into the Heart of Grief.

Facilitator: Phyllida Anam-Aire.

Date: Sunday 18 April 2021.
Time: Workshop: 6pm-9pm (UK time). With break times. NB: 6pm start time.
Event Description: This gathering is open to anyone who carries grief in their hearts and who has never had the chance to share it in a safe space.

We have all lost much in the last year.

Some had to say goodbye to members of their family, some didn’t even get a chance to say goodbye.

Some lost jobs, relationships, or homes.

Some also lost a sense of belonging, a sense of community, or a sense of purpose in life.

Some are depressed and many have left the Earth as it had just been too much for the fragility of the heart to carry.

Me too, I have had to say goodbye from afar to relatives who died.

I too know only too well the bruised spaces of the heart.

Come and allow the rivers of grief to pour healing waters over your heart.

Phyllida, and a group of compassionate friends working in the fields of bereavement, will guide you into this sacred ceremony.

There will be lots of singing and Celtic Grief Mantras, or Gutha, encouraging openness of the heart of grief in us.

Phyllida worked extensively with Elisabeth Kübler-Ross in the eighties and nineties and as a ritual of gratitude to Life Itself, offers this ceremony to the community.

It will be her last communal gathering working with grief and loss.

Phyllida invites you to come, let your heart feel the grief, and in a safe space with healing others, be held in a space of deep compassion for your own heart and for the common suffering in our world.
