Rev Kurt Johnson PhD:
Bio: Rev Kurt Johnson PhD has worked in professional science and comparative religion for more than fifty years. A well-known author, and co-founder of the award winning Light on Light Press (Nautilus “Best in Small Press” 2024), he is one of the editors of the recent two-volume series Interspirituality: The Heritage and Interspiritiuality: The Future. A prominent figure on international committees, particularly at the United Nations, he has published over 200 scientific articles and seven books, including co-authoring or co-editing award winners The Coming Interspiritual Age, Our Moment of Choice, Nabokov’s Blues and Fine Lines. His co-founded Light on Light Press has received nine Nautilus Awards. Ordained or certified in five spiritual traditions, Johnson served on the faculty of New York's One Spirit Interfaith Seminary for fifteen years and was on the staff of the American Museum of Natural History in New York City for twenty-five years. As part of UNITY EARTH and the Interspiritual Dialogue Network he has been a part of major international events for many years, and co-edits two e-magazines: The Convergence and Light on Light. He also cohosts the ongoing Convergence podcast series, originally from VoiceAmerica. He serves on core teams of the Evolutionary Leaders, The Holomovement and Prosocial World. Title: Human Evolution and the Coming Age of Interspirituality.
Description: Based on “A Meta-framework for Human Evolution” which appears in Interspirituality, Volume 2: The Future.
By overlaying the archeological record with the integrated work of Jean Gebser, Merlin Donald, and Riane Eisler we arrive at a 5-stage meta-framework for psychocultural evolution, which is the human story. Dr. Eisler’s domination-partnership framework for social systems maps squarely onto the 4th and 5th meta-stages of human evolution, accounting for the regressive events of today, and pointing to the Age of Interspirituality
Bio: Roger Briggs spent his professional career in the American public schools as an award-winning physics teacher, distance running coach, team-builder, and program developer, always with an eye toward creating environments that maximized human performance and personal growth. His love of Nature – and performance – found expression in rock climbing where he pioneered many leading-edge first ascents. Since retiring from the public schools he has been researching, writing, and talking about the “human phenomenon” which resulted in the books, Journey to Civilization: The Science of How We Got Here (2013) and Emerging World: The Evolution of Consciousness and the Future of Humanity (2021). In 2021 co-founded the Planet Project which has become one of many threads in the emerging global tapestry of organizations birthing the Interspiritual Age. His current passion project is the Positive Media Lab which he co-founded in early 2026.

Title: The Alchemy of Reconciliation Between the Masculine and Feminine as a Pathway for Interspiritual Harmony.
Description: How do we--as spiritual leaders and seekers across all the religious and spiritual traditions—heal the divisions between us, live in unity, and grow in love for one another and for the Ultimate Reality (by whatever names it is called)? One promising pathway is to apply gender equity and reconciliation work to foster intersectional healing and reconciliation—both within each religious tradition, and also across the major world religions. By tapping the systemic gender injustice that is common to all religions, gender reconciliation work in interspiritual and interfaith religious contexts can provide a vast—yet still untapped—leverage for systemic healing and remarkable transformation across the major religions, so as to eventually become a unified global beloved community.
Bio: Rev Cynthia Brix, Ph.D. (hon) is co-founder of Gender Equity and Reconciliation International. An ordained interfaith minister with a background in women’s issues and racial diversity, she co-organized seven international conferences on interspirituality, including two on women’s spiritual leadership across diverse religious and indigenous traditions. Cynthia holds an honorary doctorate from the California Institute of Integral Studies, M.A. in wellness and gerontology, M.Div., and is certified in Grof Breathwork. She is an Evolutionary Leader, and co-author of Gender Equity and Reconciliation: Thirty Years of Healing the Most Ancient Wound in the Human Family, and Women Healing Women: A Model of Hope for Oppressed Women Everywhere.
Dr Thomas Legrand:
Title: Politics of Being: An Interspiritual Development Paradigm for our Societies.
Description: How can interspirituality inform the way our societies organize themselves? What would be an interspiritual approach to human development? To answer these questions, Thomas Legrand will present its vision of a politics of being as the new development paradigm that can support the great Earth transition.
Bio: Holding a PhD in Economics, Thomas Legrand is the author of the internationally acclaimed book “Politics of Being. Wisdom and Science for a New Development Paradigm” (2022). He leads the UNDP-convened Conscious Food Systems Alliance and lives next to Plum Village, the monastery of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, in the Southwest of France.
J.J. Hurtak, Ph.D., and Desiree Hurtak, Ph.D.:
Title: Future Science and Higher Consciousness as Keys to Interspirituality.
Description: Interspirituality incorporates a science guided by Consciousness, which is able to bring together science and spirituality. We will show how, in a broader sense, a greater religious understanding when merged with quantum physics demonstrates that we are all one humanity. Moreover, as ‘the higher path’ starts to cultivate the sacred and the scientific in service to all humanity, “Interspirituality” becomes the beneficent and joyous realization that all paths of wisdom lead to Divine Source through a higher cosmology of consciousness. This is the reality of a future science focused on a positive future wherein we ultimately discover that we were created through Divine Love.
Bio: J.J. Hurtak, Ph.D., Ph.D. and Desiree Hurtak, Ph.D. are social scientists, futurists and founders of The Academy For Future Science, an international organization. Dr J.J. Hurtak is the author of The Book of Knowledge: The Keys of Enoch®, as well as numerous other books including his work with co-author Russell Targ entitled End of Suffering: Fearless Living in Troubled Times. Together they are also contributors to Interspirtuality (Vol. 2) The Future. They have written numerous books including Overself Awakening and Mind Dynamics In Space and Time, the latter co-authored with physicist Dr. Elizabeth Rauscher, examining quantum physics, remote viewing and the power of the mind.
